Andrea hails from the sunny desert of Phoenix, Arizona where she loves to be in the sunshine, climbing mountains, reading, swimming, cooking, dancing, and hanging with her family and friends. She also loves to hit the road and travel her heart out all over the world.
Andrea is a Phoenix-based personal fitness trainer, private healthy cook, and nationally-published fitness and nutrition writer. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist.
She is also a certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach Levels I and II through the CHEK Institute in San Diego and in an Integrative Approach to Breast Cancer through University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine. She’s also recently completed dance fitness instructor training at 305 Fitness in New York.
She also holds a B.S. in Business Administration and has worked in the publishing industry in the areas of education, healthcare, business, real estate, weddings, and more since 2000.
She has been a contributing writer for Livestrong.com and is a Zella Pro – an athlete representing the fashionable athletic wear line for Nordstrom.
