THE ONE INGREDIENT TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The only way to develop and maintain your fitness fetish is to dial in your diet. One simply cannot put diesel in a Porsche and expect high performance.

Have you ever heard of a zebra having chronic fatigue, cancer, or a belly because he’s over 40? No. They’re machines because they eat what nature intended them to eat.

So, here is the one food I want you to say goodbye to today for the fastest, most immediate results in your physique: Sugar.

I hear what you’re saying. “But I don’t really eat that much sugar, I swear.” To that I say: horse pucky. That is a direct quote from my grandpa, bless his soul.

The trouble is that sugar is hidden in everything. Cereal, yogurt, condiments, teas, sports drinks, juices, “nutrition” bars, and even your big package of gluten-free whatever.

It hides under sexy names: raw agave nectar, unsweetened dates, pure cane juice, molasses, palm fruit nectar, raw honey, corn syrup, beet sugar, barley malt, raw sugar, turbinado, and on and on and on.

I don’t care if it’s organic. If it comes in a package and it has more than 10 grams of sugar per serving, don’t eat it. Don’t eat it!

If you do it, mark my words, you’ll find yourself still feeling snacky and craving something sweet again pretty soon.

And, when your body has too many carbohydrates, the hormone called insulin, which tells your body where to put the sugar, starts running out of places to put the sugar.

So where does the extra sugar go?

Fat.

Maybe even disease.

Yikes.

Don’t do it.

PS, I’m not saying don’t eat fruit.

I mentioned dates above because even though they’re healthy and natural and have nutrients and blah blah, they are pure sugar. They send me into a maniacal frenzy wanting more sweet stuff. Like dates. Moooreeee dates….

I’ll tell you the great news.

Once you knock back the sugar, you will quit craving it. It’s amazing. Studies show that sugar is more addictive than cocaine. Cocaine! That’s crazy.

And, no thanks.

As for the fruit, how much is too much?

Only you know. There are amazing nutrients in fruit.

But if you eat four bananas and a bucket of strawberries and a watermelon in a day you’re going to have sugar cravings.

And probably gain weight. Try one to two pieces a day, with tons of fresh veggies and see how you go.

Remember, nothing with more than ten grams of sugar per serving. Give it a try today and tell me how it goes in the comments below!
